Kerman Automotive Industries Company (KAIC) is an integrated industrial group comprising vehicle manufacturers, component suppliers, trading, service, and financial companies.
This group was established with the objective of supporting automotive production facilities located in the Arg-e-Jadid Bam Special Economic Zone. KAIC commenced its automotive activities in 1992 through a Joint Venture (JV) for the manufacturing and assembly of its first vehicles in collaboration with Daewoo of South Korea. Subsequently, in response to evolving international conditions and market dynamics, the group expanded its portfolio through strategic partnerships with global automotive brands including Hyundai, VW, pa Hafei Lobo, Lifan, JAC, BYD, Geely, SWM, Skywell, and Livan, initiating the production of a diverse range of vehicles.
As a result of these developments, Kerman Khodro Industrial Group, leveraging the capabilities of its 35 subsidiary companies led by Kerman Motor and active across vehicle manufacturing, component production, aftersales services, trading, and financial services has rapidly progressed toward its strategic objectives. These include the expansion of domestic and foreign investment and the transformation of the Arg-e-Jadid Special Economic Zone into a major national automotive hub.
