Saman Firoozi, CEO of Kerman Motor, visited and closely evaluated the Eagle hybrid sedan following its official introduction and catalog release.

In December 2025 (Azar 1404), Kerman Motor unveiled its first national hybrid sedan under the name KMC Eagle Hybrid—a project whose launch had first been announced by the company’s CEO in January 2025 (Dey 1403). Less than a year later, the project entered the testing and standard evaluation phase.

During his visit to the new product, Saman Firoozi expressed appreciation for the efforts of the company’s staff in research and development of modern domestic products, stating: “The Eagle Hybrid and Electric models will be part of Kerman Motor’s clean vehicle lineup under the ‘Vision 1407’ program.”
Production and Development Plans
According to the latest information, the KMC Eagle HEV will enter mass production and market release after obtaining the necessary standards. The hybrid Eagle has been developed on Kerman Motor’s proprietary PS1 platform, whose successful gasoline version and full mastery of its technical knowledge are considered key advantages of this vehicle.
Kerman Motor’s long-term plans, titled “Vision 1407”, were shared during the company’s supply chain conference in January 2025. At that event, Saman Firoozi announced that Kerman Motor would invest $300 million in research and development over four years.
With a focus on environmental responsibility, he stated: “We expect to reduce carbon emissions in our product lineup from 170 to 105 grams per kilometer by 1407 (2028).”

Capabilities in Clean Vehicles
In autumn 2025, at Sharif University of Technology, the final version of the fully electric Eagle was showcased, demonstrating Kerman Motor’s scientific and engineering capabilities in designing advanced technologies aligned with market needs and environmental sustainability. With this growing trajectory in R&D of local clean vehicles, it is expected that all three versions of the national sedan KMC Eagle (gasoline, hybrid, and electric) will soon be available in the market.
Technical Specifications of the Hybrid Model
The Eagle Hybrid is equipped with:
- A new 1.5-liter naturally aspirated DHE combustion engine
- A 1.8 kWh battery paired with a DHT hybrid gearbox
- A 45-liter fuel tank

Together, these enable a driving range of nearly 1,000 kilometers. The national hybrid sedan also delivers 280 Nm of torque.
Thanks to its battery being charged by the gasoline engine, the KMC Eagle HEV offers lower fuel consumption and eliminates the need for extensive charging infrastructure, making it one of the best options for urban and family use.
