Consistent Production Growth in Summer and Fall 2025
Kerman Motor maintained and strengthened its position among domestic automakers during the summer and fall of 2025, achieving a steady upward trend in production. This performance was realized despite industry-wide challenges such as energy imbalances and supply chain constraints.
According to statistics released by the Ministry of Industry, Mine and Trade, Kerman Motor’s production exceeded 35,000 units in the first seven months of the current year.
A closer analysis of the data shows that between July and October 2025, the company experienced a 28% monthly growth rate. Production increased from 4,279 units in July to 5,530 units in October. This growth occurred while many other automakers in the country faced production declines.
With over 590,000 vehicles currently in circulation across Iran and an extensive dealership network, Kerman Motor is considered one of the key players in the Iranian automotive market. The company has also created more than 11,000 direct and indirect job opportunities, playing a significant role in employment and economic development in southeastern regions of the country.
Performance analysis indicates that supply chain management, improved production processes, and a focus on industrial planning stability have been the main drivers of this recent growth. In 2025, Kerman Motor has outlined plans to expand its product portfolio and increase the localization of components—initiatives that could reduce reliance on imports and enhance domestic competitiveness in the long run.
Maintaining this trajectory and ensuring production stability could solidify Kerman Motor’s position as the third largest automaker in Iran. By leveraging its manufacturing capacity and strategic planning, the company has managed to balance market challenges with its development goals, continuing its path of industrial growth under difficult economic conditions.
