The EAGLE Hybrid, Kerman Motor’s new product, has entered the final stage of technical testing and obtaining the 85 mandatory standards.
In January last year, the CEO of Kerman Motor announced the start of developing electric and hybrid versions of the EAGLE vehicle; now, in December 2025 (Azar 1404), the EAGLE Hybrid has entered the phase of technical trials and the process of acquiring the 85 standards.
Kerman Motor, which in recent years has seriously pursued the path of electrifying public and private transportation, after the successful launch of the gasoline version of EAGLE in spring this year, has now advanced the development of the hybrid version to the stage of final testing and standard evaluations.
The EAGLE Hybrid HEV is equipped with a DHT gearbox and a combined electric–gasoline powertrain. This system includes a 1.8 kWh battery and a set of coordinated engines that provide 220 Nm of torque.
HEV vehicles, due to lower fuel consumption and no need for extensive charging infrastructure, are the best choice for countries with limited charging station networks; therefore, the KMC EAGLE HEV is introduced as one of the most suitable domestic options with a clean powertrain and economic price.

An Important Step in Developing Green Products
The EAGLE Hybrid is considered one of the most important product development projects at Kerman Motor; a project based on the EAGLE (PS1) platform, designed in response to the current demand of the Iranian market for more fuel-efficient and cleaner vehicles.
Entering the phase of obtaining the 85 standards—which include safety tests, emission tests, build quality, and performance of electronic systems—means approaching the stage of mass production and official launch.
Continuing the Electrification Path at Kerman Motor
In recent years, Kerman Motor has begun designing and developing electric and hybrid vehicles, participating in urban electrification projects, and expanding infrastructure for the use of modern powertrains.
This has established its position as one of the leading companies in this field.
The progress of the EAGLE Hybrid is another step toward completing the company’s portfolio of clean vehicles and responding to the future needs of Iran’s automotive market.
