History
Kerman Khodro Powertrain Company (Private Joint Stock) was established in 2008 (1387 in the Iranian calendar) with the aim of assembling and manufacturing various engines, gearboxes, and axles for passenger vehicles in the Arg-e Jadid Economic Zone.
Production Background
As a main OEM supplier, the company has so far assembled and delivered powertrain systems (including engine, gearbox, and axle) for the following vehicles:
- Cielo
- Matiz
- Gol
- Verna
- MVM
- And the complete gearbox for Pride
