About Kerman Automotive Industries Group

History

Kerman Automotive Industries Company (KAIC) is a conglomerate consisting of automobile manufacturing, parts manufacturing, commercial, service, and financial companies aimed at supporting vehicle production plants in the Arge Jadid Special Economic Zone in Bam. This industrial group started in 1992 (1371) through a joint venture (JV) to produce and assemble its first automotive products in cooperation with the Korean company Daewoo. Subsequently, in response to international conditions and developments, KAIC signed contracts with companies such as Hyundai, VW, Lobo, Lifan, Jac, BYD, Geely, SWM, Skywell, and Livan to produce a variety of vehicles.

Thanks to these activities and utilizing the capacities of its 35 subsidiaries—led by Kerman Motor—which operate in production, parts manufacturing, after-sales services, commerce, and financial services, the Kerman Industrial Group is rapidly advancing its goals for domestic and foreign investment growth and transforming the Arge Jadid Special Economic Zone into a major automotive hub in Iran.
By investing and establishing this special economic zone in the underdeveloped county of Bam, a new approach has been provided to create sustainable security through economic prosperity driven by the private sector.
